Ribbit Ribbit everyone! Today, I’ve got a new paper-folding adventure for you – a delightful origami frog!
This adorable little froggy is a traditional model that promises to leap right into your heart. But hold on tight to your lily pads, because it doesn’t stop there! This little origami frog has a trick up its sleeve (or rather, its little paper legs) it can actually jump! With a gentle press on its back, this little fella springs to life.

Creating this little hopper will leave you croaking with joy. The satisfaction builds as you fold each precise crease and mold simple paper into a lively amphibian buddy.
To do so, you’ll need nothing more than a square sheet of paper of a color to your liking. The simple folds and strategic manipulations are all precisely captured and presented in my video tutorial. You won’t believe your eyes as your creation takes shape, ready to leap into action.
It’s incredibly easy to make! Even the little ones can join in on the froggy fun, and I bet you’ll be amazed at how quickly you can whip up a whole froggy army! The kids are gonna love playing with these (and the adults too). Heck, I myself went on to play with these jumping frogs for quite a while after making them.
So, let’s jump right in (pun intended) and bring this little origami froggy to life! Hop onto your papers folks.
And don’t “frog-get” to leave your ribbit-ing thoughts in the comments!

Thanks so much for sharing this detailed tutorial. I tried making this earlier but it was from a very short video I saw on social media and my frog turned out weird and wouldn’t jump. Will definitely try your method this time.
